Converts the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) to the local time based on the time zone. UTC is a time standard based on International Atomic Time. UTC is considered more accurate than Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Input Properties

These properties define data that the action uses when executing.

Property

Description

Add Caption

Enter a short phrase that uniquely identifies this action in the script. The caption appears on the script canvas under the action icon.

Original Datetime

The original date and time that is to be converted. This may be a variable value.

Time Zone ID

The time zone ID based on UTC. These are entered as "UTC" plus or minus the number of hours. For example "UTC-07" is the same as Mountain Standard Time. UTC entries must be double-digit; "UTC-07" will function whereas "UTC-7" will not.

Converted Time Variable

The name of the variable that the converted time will be stored as. By default it is LOCALDATETIME.

Result Branch Conditions

Result branch conditions allow you to create branches in your script to handle different outcomes when an action executes.

Path taken unless the script meets a condition that requires it to take one of the other branches. It is also taken if the action's other branches are not defined.
BadTimeZoneID Path taken if the Time Zone ID does not match the available time zones in the database.
